  1. ja hvis du vil har demografi skal du brug den gamle  ga.js kode.   Du kan ikke bruge den analytics.js kode.   Jeg har hørt at den kommer snart men jeg vil ikke hvad googles definition af snart er.

  3. Found it: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/upgrade/

Universal Analytics does not currently support the the dc.js JavaScript and related features (Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, DoubleClick Campaign Manager Integration, and the Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reports). If you use any of these features, upgrade to Universal Analytics after dc.js is supported.

You need to wait until Phase 3 when its out of beta.

  5. Hi Linda. I’m writing on behalf of John G. We did use the old analytics code using ga.js.

But we’ve previously updated the property to use universal analytics on the google analytics webpage. Is this an issue? And if so how can we get back to “before” universal analytics?

On our demography reports we get the following text in a yellow box at the top of the page:

“Nogle data i denne rapport er muligvis blevet fjernet, da der blev anvendt en grænse.”

    Could that be an issue?

    Thanks.

  7. You have two options:

I go back to using the old ga.js tracking code it doesn’t matter if your account is set to Universal Analytics it will still run.

Second option is run both tracking codes pointing to two different web properties.  I haven’t tried this i probably should.  But i have read it will work.  The draw back is then you have double data because your tracking the same stuff just in two different properties.   One with demographic data one without.   Can be confusing and you cant really compare the two.  So really its over kill if you ask me.

IMO just put back your old tracking code until its out of beta.  I’m still trying to find someone willing to give me a definition of Soon.   I will update if i get a response.  🙂
